Report a Copyright Issue

If you believe an emote on Free Emotes infringes your copyright, email purplerogue@gmail.com with the subject line "Takedown Request" and include:

1. 1 - Your full name and contact information (email and phone number)
2. 2 - A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
3. 3 - The exact URL(s) of the emote(s) on freeemotes.com you want removed
4. 4 - A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
5. 5 - A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
6. 6 - Your physical or electronic signature

What happens next:

every valid request is reviewed personally, and infringing material is removed or disabled, typically within 5 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once action is taken.

Counter-notices:

if you believe your content was removed by mistake, reply with the same information above, identify the removed material and where it appeared, and include your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district. Misuse of this process — knowingly filing a false claim — can carry legal liability.
